Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, LLC in Spring Hill, TN is seeking a Spray Technician to join the spray crew and report to the Chem Spray Manager, providing instruction to others on the crew.

Responsibilities include spray application of chemicals, adherence to chemical safety, and following through on assigned tasks while following instructions carefully.

The role requires English and Spanish communication, outdoor work in potentially extreme conditions, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Job Summary

• The Spray Technician is a member of the spray crew who reports to and takes direction from the Chem Spray Manager and provides instruction to other members of the spray crew.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Spray application of chemicals
• Possess an awareness of and commit to Chemical Safety
• Ability to follow through on assigned tasks
• Follow instructions accurately

Education and Experience:

• Has or can obtain a QAL
• Basic knowledge of plant material
• Able to communicate in English & Spanish – oral and written

Physical Demands/Requirements:

• Work in/or about situations near direct automotive traffic
• Work near or about natural bodies of water
• Work 8+ hours per day with applicable breaks x 5 days/week (some overtime/weekend work required)
• Ability to work in extreme conditions – temperatures may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit
• Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs. (mulch, fertilizer, etc.)
• Ability to load/unload burlaps with plant cuttings onto the trailer (up to 50 lbs.)
• Ability to bend, stoop, and twist continuously throughout the day

Work Environment:

• Work outdoors in extreme conditions near automotive traffic, natural bodies of water, and direct sunlight.
