Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is seeking a Spray Technician to join the spray crew and execute chemical applications under the Chem Spray Manager's guidance. You will train and provide instruction to other crew members while upholding safety and quality standards.

Requirements include the ability to communicate in English and Spanish, and possession or the ability to obtain a QAL. This role supports outdoor projects in Florida and involves physically demanding work, with a focus on safety and reliable

Qualifications

• Able to communicate in English & Spanish – oral and written.
• Has or can obtain a Qualified Applicator License (QAL).
• Basic knowledge of plant material.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Spray application of chemicals
• Possess an awareness of and commit to Chemical Safety
• Follow through on assigned tasks
• Follow instructions accurately

Education And Experience

• Has or can obtain a QAL
• Basic knowledge of plant material
• Able to communicate in English & Spanish – oral and written

Physical Demands/Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and twist continuously throughout the day

Work Environment

• Work in/or about situations near direct automotive traffic
• Work near or about natural bodies of water
• Work 8+ hours per day with applicable breaks x 5 days/week (some overtime/weekend work required)
• Ability to work in extreme conditions – temperatures may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit
• Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods
