Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, LLC is seeking a Spray Technician to join our spray crew. The position reports to the Chem Spray Manager and may provide guidance to other crew members.

You will perform spray applications and participate in safety and compliance procedures to ensure quality results. Ideal candidates will have or be able to obtain a QAL, possess basic knowledge of plant material, and communicate effectively in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• Must have or obtain a QAL certification.
• Basic knowledge of plant material.
• Bilingual English/Spanish (oral and written).

Duties And Responsibilities

• Spray application of chemicals
• Possess an awareness of and commit to Chemical Safety
• Follow through on assigned tasks
• Follow instructions accurately

Education And Experience

• Has or can obtain a QAL
• Basic knowledge of plant material
• Able to communicate in English & Spanish - oral and written

Physical Demands/Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and twist continuously throughout the day

Work Environment

• Work in/or about situations near direct automotive traffic
• Work near or about natural bodies of water
• Work 8+ hours per day with applicable breaks x 5 days/week (some overtime/weekend work required)
• Ability to work in extreme conditions - temperatures may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit
• Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods
