The National at Ave Maria Golf Club, located in Ave Maria, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Spray Technician. We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations.

Compensation

$23 hourly

Position Overview

Duties include but are not limited to mixing, preparing, and applying chemical solutions (insecticides, herbicides, fungicides). The candidate will also keep up with pesticide and fertilizer inventory and maintain records of pesticide and fertilizer applications.

Requirements

• Comfortable wearing spray applicator suits, full-face respirators, and chemical-resistant apparel.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Perform simple calculations.
• Willingness to learn.
• Detail-oriented.
• Maintain a neat and organized work area.
• Have or be willing to obtain a Pesticide Applicator License within 60 days of employment.

Job Description

• Apply fertilizer and other chemical applications.
• Update spray records, inventory, and MSDS sheets.
• Calibrate spray equipment and fertilizer spreaders.
• Perform general upkeep and maintenance on spray equipment.
• Develop the ability to diagnose pest and fungus issues over time.
