Qualifications

• Must pass NOV 5G spray MIG welding test.
• Ability to read WPS documents, weld maps and blueprints.
• Knowledge of spray MIG welding processes and techniques.
• Ability to use grinders, hand tools and measuring devices safely.
• Ability to inspect own work and ensure quality.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Perform spray MIG welding according to WPS.
• Read weld maps, blueprints, and fabrication prints.
• Prepare, fit, align, and tack-weld components.
• Use grinders, hand tools, measuring devices safely.
• Grind and finish welds to specifications.
• Inspect personal work and ensure quality.
• Identify and correct weld defects or notify supervision.
• Follow NOV safety procedures and PPE.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Meet production, quality, and attendance expectations.
• Collaborate with supervisors, welders, inspectors, and team members.
• Follow NOV policies, procedures, and quality standards.
