Job summary

NOV is seeking a Welder in Houston to perform quality spray MIG welds per WPS and fabrication prints while upholding safety, teamwork, and workmanship standards.

You will read weld maps and fabrication prints, prepare and tack-weld components, and finish welds to spec. The role requires consistent attendance, strong attention to detail, and safe operation of grinders and welding equipment in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

  • Must pass NOV 5G-position spray MIG welding test.
  • Ability to read and interpret WPS documents, weld maps, blueprints, and fabrication prints.
  • Knowledge of spray MIG welding processes and proper welding techniques.
  • Ability to use grinders, hand tools, measuring devices, and welding equipment safely.
  • Ability to inspect and take responsibility for the quality of personal work.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and wear all required PPE.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform bending, lifting, and other physical tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail, dependability, teamwork, and commitment to quality.
  • Demonstrates reliable attendance, arrives on time, and is prepared to begin work at the scheduled start time.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, hazard-free work area.
  • Meet production, quality, and attendance expectations.
