Job summary

Job description

To contribute to NOV as a Welder by performing quality spray MIG welds, following WPS requirements and fabrication prints, and maintaining a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and workmanship.

Responsibilities
  • Perform spray MIG welding according to approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
  • Read and interpret weld maps, blueprints, fabrication prints, and weld symbols.
  • Prepare, fit, align, and tack-weld metal components.
  • Use grinders, hand tools, measuring devices, and welding equipment safely.
  • Grind, clean, and finish welds according to specifications.
  • Inspect personal work and take responsibility for the quality of completed welds.
  • Identify and correct weld defects or notify supervision of quality concerns.
  • Follow all NOV safety procedures and wear required PPE.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
  • Meet production, quality, and attendance expectations.
  • Work effectively with supervisors, welders, inspectors, and other team members.
  • Follow NOV policies, procedures, and quality standards.

  • Strong attention to detail, dependability, teamwork, and commitment to quality.
  • Demonstrates reliable attendance, arrives on time, and is prepared to begin work at the scheduled start time.
