Job summary

Leonard Truck Outfitters in Gastonia, NC is seeking a Spray/Installation Technician to apply spray-in bed liners and install a wide range of aftermarket automotive parts on trucks and commercial vehicles. The role reports to the Store Manager and requires accuracy, safety, and teamwork.

The ideal candidate brings strong mechanical skills, knowledge of bed liner processes, and the ability to work independently or with a team to meet installation deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record is required.
• Experience applying spray-in bed liners or coatings is required.
• Experience installing aftermarket parts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicle surfaces for bed liner application, including cleaning and masking.
• Mix and apply bed liner materials per spec and quality standards.
• Inspect finished work for coverage, adhesion, and finish.
• Maintain spray equipment and clean work areas.
• Install aftermarket parts and accessories per specifications.
• Perform pre- and post-installation quality checks and adjustments.
• Collaborate with team to meet deadlines.
• Provide excellent customer service and document work orders.
