Job summary

Synergy Flavors, Inc. in Wauconda, IL, is hiring a Spray Dry Packer I for the 2nd shift. You will pack production batches, monitor equipment, and ensure data accuracy while following strict sanitation and safety guidelines. Training will cover food safety concepts and documentation practices to maintain high-quality production.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Transfer materials, set up equipment, and prepare packaging materials.
• Learn and apply food safety concepts relevant to products.
• Identify and report product quality issues to shift leads or management.
• Perform duties safely and in alignment with company policies.
• Complete tasks accurately and without errors.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Pack production batches and monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Record production and other data accurately on specified forms and documents
• Follow sanitary guidelines for CIP and cleaning
• Transfer materials, set up equipment, supplies and packaging materials efficiently.
• Learn and understand food safety concepts and their importance in making our products.
• Promptly observe and clearly communicate food or other product quality matters to Shift Leads or Management.
• Consistently perform assigned duties in a safe manner and in accordance with the company's safety policies.
• Consistently perform and complete assigned duties without errors or other defects.

Qualifications & Skills Required

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Consume required materials using RF scanner and accurately report batch quantities.
• Must have attention to detail and can perform basic mathematics.
• Ability to manually lift 50 lbs. continuously when necessary
• Must follow safety requirements, forklift policy and wear required PPE.
• Ability to problem solve and communicate when something is wrong and to recognize and report the problem.
• Ability to work overtime when necessary.
• Ability to learn and consistently follow operational and cleaning procedures.
• Ability to learn and consistently complete required documentation and record-keeping requirements.

Starting Salary : $17.00/HR + $1 Shift Differential + $1K Sign on Bonus

Monday - Thursday 1p-11:30p (4 day - 10 Hour shift)

The actual compensation that you will be offered will depend on a variety of factors including geography, skills and abilities, education, experience and other relevant factors. This role will remain open until filled.
