Job summary

Synergy Flavors, Inc. in Wauconda, IL is seeking a Spray Dry Packer I for the 2nd shift to support production in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

You will pack production batches, monitor equipment, record data, follow CIP and cleaning procedures, and ensure compliance with safety policies. The role offers a starting hourly wage of $17 plus a $1 shift differential and a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Must report batch quantities using RF scanner.
• Attention to detail and basic math required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly.
• Follow safety requirements and PPE and forklift policies.
• Willing to work overtime when necessary.
• Learn and follow procedures and record-keeping.
• Demonstrate good communication to Shift Leads/Management.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Pack production batches and monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Record production and other data accurately on specified forms and documents
• Follow sanitary guidelines for CIP and cleaning
• Transfer materials, set up equipment, supplies and packaging materials efficiently.
• Learn and understand food safety concepts and their importance in making our products.
• Promptly observe and clearly communicate food or other product quality matters to Shift Leads or Management.
• Consistently perform assigned duties in a safe manner and in accordance with the company’s safety policies.
• Consistently perform and complete assigned duties without errors or other defects.

Qualifications & Skills Required

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Consume required materials using RF scanner and accurately report batch quantities.
• Must have attention to detail and can perform basic mathematics.
• Ability to manually lift 50 lbs. continuously when necessary
• Must follow safety requirements, forklift policy and wear required PPE.
• Ability to problem solve and communicate when something is wrong and to recognize and report the problem.
• Ability to work overtime when necessary.
• Ability to learn and consistently follow operational and cleaning procedures.
• Ability to learn and consistently complete required documentation and record-keeping requirements.

Starting Salary : $17.00/HR + $1 Shift Differential + $1K Sign on Bonus

Monday - Thursday 1p-11:30p (4 day - 10 Hour shift)

The actual compensation that you will be offered will depend on a variety of factors including geography, skills and abilities, education, experience and other relevant factors.

This role will remain open until filled.
