Job summary

Weaver Popcorn Manufacturing is seeking a Spotter Driver to keep trailers moving safely in our yard in Van Buren, Indiana. You will position trailers at dock doors, track moves, coordinate with shipping and receiving, and assist with warehouse tasks as needed.

Required: a valid CDL and driver’s license, high school diploma or GED, and the ability to read and understand English. Forklift certification or willingness to obtain is a plus; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a yard or spotter truck preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers between yard locations and dock doors, positioning them for loading and unloading.
• Keep accurate records of trailer moves, locations, and times.
• Apply seals to loaded trailers and deliver load paperwork between trailers and the office.
• Communicate clearly by radio with team members, drivers, and carriers.
• Help verify trailer locations and support lot inventory.
• Operate a forklift and assist with other warehouse tasks as assigned.
• Keep work areas clean and report safety concerns or equipment issues promptly.
