Job summary

Weaver Popcorn Manufacturing seeks a Spotter Driver in Van Buren, IN to move trailers within the yard and docks, document trailer activity, and support the shipping and receiving team. The role requires good communication, safety awareness, and ability to work with drivers and carriers.

You will position trailers, operate a spotter truck, and assist with basic warehouse tasks while maintaining accurate records and following radio instructions for efficient loading and unloading.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to read, write, and understand English to perform duties safely.
• Demonstrated safety awareness and clear communication with team and drivers.
• Valid driver’s license and CDL are required or must be obtained to operate spotter truck.
• Experience operating a yard or spotter truck preferred; forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers between yard locations and dock doors for loading/unloading.
• Keep records of trailer moves, locations and times.
• Apply seals to loaded trailers and pass load paperwork between trailers and the office.
• Communicate via radio with team members, drivers and carriers.
• Assist with warehouse tasks and inventory checks as needed.
• Operate a forklift and maintain safe work areas.
