Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Machine Operator experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Welding knowledge is a plus.
• Able to clear drug screen and background check.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and learn the production process.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operates welding machine to join metal spans in metal fabrication process.
• May set up and operate machines such as drill presses, punch presses, saws, shears, bending rolls, brakes, grinders, and NC equipment to shape and alter metal per specifications.
• Follows blueprints, customer specifications, rough sketches, or engineer drawings to shape and weld metal accurately.
• Uses hand and power tools to shape, cut, and smooth metal and blend seams.
• May set up and operate soldering and welding equipment.
• Spot weld milled steel and stainless steel.
• Square up and weld various shapes of components.
• Weld both vertical and horizontal planes.
• Meets agreed upon goals and objectives promptly.
• Arrives to work and meetings on time.
• Interact with team members professionally.
• Operate a forklift safely.
