Responsibilities

• Respond effectively to Supervisor’s requests regarding guest interaction and concerns.
• Write, verify, and process payments for sports wagers according to department policies and regulations.
• Maintain a cash bank for the shift, handling payments and making correct change.
• Stock and keep sports book stations neat and supplied.
• Write sports tickets accurately and promptly.
• Pay out winning tickets accurately and promptly, verifying tickets and payoffs.
• Reconcile the bank for the shift, following cash-handling policies.
• Explain wagering rules, betting lines, and odds to guests.
• Provide friendly, courteous assistance to guests to ensure superior service.
• Offer information on activities and direct guests as needed.
• Create and enter player tracking cards.
• Notify management of escalated guest issues or suspicious activity.
• Perform duties outside normal scope as needed for efficiency, productivity, or guest service.
