The sportsbook teller writes, verifies, and processes payments for sports wagers, ensuring compliance with department policies and gaming regulations.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Respond effectively to supervisor requests and guest interactions.
2. Maintain a cash bank, accept payments, and give correct change.
3. Stock and keep stations neat and clean.
4. Write sports tickets accurately and promptly.
5. Make payments on winning tickets accurately and verify tickets and payoffs.
6. Reconcile cash banks following policies.
7. Explain wagering rules, betting lines, and odds to guests.
8. Provide friendly, courteous assistance to ensure superior guest service.
9. Offer activity information and direct guests accordingly.
10. Create and enter player tracking cards.
11. Report escalated guest issues and suspicious activity to management.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or GED; or six months of guest service or equivalent experience.
• Flexible to work all shifts, including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime.
• Minimum six months cash-handling experience.
• Ability to work in a high-volume team environment.
