Job summary

The Midland RockHounds seek a creative Video Production & Broadcast Intern for the upcoming baseball season at Momentum Bank Ballpark. This hands-on role covers video production, digital content creation, and broadcast support within a professional MiLB organization.

You will help film, edit, and publish content for social channels, assist with live game operations, learn Daktronics video board workflows, and gain exposure to show scripting, game presentation, and sponsor-related assets

Qualifications

Pursuing or holding a degree in video production, film, broadcasting, communications, digital media, or a related field.
Experience with DSLR or mirrorless cameras, video recording, composition, and basic audio production.
Familiarity with video editing software, preferably Adobe Premiere Pro.
Experience with After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other creative tools is a plus.
Understanding of video storytelling, editing techniques, and visual communication.
Familiarity with social media platforms and best practices for producing engaging digital content.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

Film, edit, and produce original video content featuring players, coaches, fans, team personnel, and ballpark events.
Create short-form and long-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other digital platforms.
Produce player features, interviews, behind-the-scenes videos, game highlights, promotional spots, and event recaps.
Capture footage at home games, community appearances, team events, sponsor activations, and other organizational functions.
Collaborate with marketing and social media teams to create engaging content for platforms.
Assist with filming, scripting, and planning video projects from concept to delivery.
