Job summary

Boston Legacy FC in Brockton, MA is seeking a Coordinator, Sports Turf & Grounds to maintain the club's playing surfaces, oversee grounds maintenance, and support matchday operations.

The role requires hands-on outdoor work, flexibility for early mornings, weekends and holidays, and the ability to lift 50 pounds; preferred turfgrass experience and proficiency with Google Workspace, Zoom, and Slack. Hybrid work available with on-site and remote days.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree or at least 2 years of high‑level turfgrass experience.
• Skills in using Google Workspace, Zoom, and Slack.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining one natural professional pitch with SubAir hydronic undersoil heating, ¾ natural pitch with sand‑based drainage, three artificial turf pitches, and an artificial bubble dome.
• Safe operation of machinery and equipment including mowers, tractor, aerator, verticutter, sweeper, brush, blower, trimmer, and utility vehicles.
• Perform regular pitch maintenance: mowing, painting, aerating, fertilizing, topdressing, brushing, blowing, divoting.
• Maintain landscape surrounding areas: mowing, trimming, weeding, blowing.
• Support events on outdoor artificial pitches and bubble dome through painting, grooming, cleaning, and equipment setup.
• Assist in winter operations including snow removal across driveways, parking lots, and player entrances.
• Support additional responsibilities to grow Legacy’s commitment to women’s soccer and event operations.
• Opportunity to assist in matchday operations and special events at White Stadium once completed.
