Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking store teammates to join our Durham, NC location. You will greet customers, learn their needs, and help them find the right products while maintaining our merchandising standards.

You will promote loyalty programs and warranties, follow safety policies, and contribute to a welcoming, inclusive store environment. This role requires reliability, teamwork, and the ability to perform duties that keep the store running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up to 35 lbs repetitively.
• Ability to work extended periods standing or walking (up to 4 hours) and at heights with ladder or platform.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and proactively approach to understand needs.
• Uphold merchandising and presentation standards with floor sets and price changes.
• Promote loyalty programs, warranties, and private label enrollment.
• Adhere to safety, loss prevention, and SOPs.
• Create an inclusive store environment where everyone feels welcome and respected.
• Support the team across the store as needed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
