Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking store teammates who are passionate about helping customers and delivering an exceptional shopping experience. You will greet customers, understand their needs, assist with product selection, and uphold merchandising standards.

Qualifications

• Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up 15 to 35 lbs. items repetitively.
• Ability to work extended periods standing or walking and at heights with ladders or platforms.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet everyone and proactively approach customers to understand their needs and support their shopping experience.
• Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards by following established floor sets, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation and replenishment standards.
• Promote company programs (i.e., customer loyalty program participation, warranty sales, private label credit card enrollment).
• Adhere to policies related to safety and loss prevention; maintain confidentiality of company information.
• Create an inclusive store environment where everyone feels welcome, safe, and respected.
• Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
