Job summary

Nicholasville Community Center (NJCC SFM, LLC) is seeking a Sport League Program Manager to oversee all sports and non-sports programs at the Nicholasville, KY facility. You will manage leagues, camps, tournaments, and after-school offerings, coordinating with Operations, Marketing, and other departments to ensure successful delivery.

The role requires experience coaching youth and adults, strong program development and sales abilities, and the ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in recreation, sports management or related field.
• 3-5 years related experience required.
• CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain.
• Experience coaching youth and adult sports.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
• Team player with adaptable schedule including weekends/nights/holidays.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and run sport programs, leagues, camps, and tournaments.
• Support Operations Directors and Coaches as needed.
• Manage facility schedule and events.
• Develop programs for corporate, group, and family markets.
• Create and manage program budgets and sales initiatives.
• Generate sales through relationships and partnerships.
• Track weekly sales totals and report progress.
• Oversee all program activities and events.
• Partner with third-party groups to attract events and revenue.
• Hire, train, and motivate staff; assist with events and setup.
