Shift: Tuesday 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, Friday 6:30 AM - 6:00 PM, Saturday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, with 5 hours of paperwork from home on Monday and/or Wednesday.

We are seeking a Sports Physical Therapist who thrives in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will plan, evaluate, organize, and implement developmentally and age-appropriate Physical Therapy (PT) treatment programs for patients from birth to adulthood.

Scheduled: Tuesday 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, Friday 6:30 AM - 6:00 PM, Saturday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, plus 5 hours of paperwork from home on Monday and/or Wednesday.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Complete patient evaluations and reassessments following hospital and department guidelines.
  • Develop individualized care plans based on evaluation and reassessment findings.
  • Provide clinical support to outpatient clinics or specialty programs.
  • Mentor less experienced staff in your area of expertise, based on evaluations of learners.
  • Document patient information accurately in the Electronic Medical Record, with no more than six errors per year.
  • Serve as a clinical instructor for at least one professional student per year.
  • Report unsafe situations, injuries, potential problems, and unusual incidents to the manager or designee.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement initiatives.

As part of our safety protocols, all candidates will be required to undergo respiratory fit testing in compliance with occupational health standards.

Skills & Requirements

  • Degree in Physical Therapy required.
  • State of Texas PT certification required.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification preferred.
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience or 1 year of medical residency preferred.
