Job summary

Cypress Physical Therapy is seeking a versatile Wellness Coordinator & Sports Performance Specialist to support therapists by explaining plans of care to patients, clarifying insurance, and educating patients on advanced PT technologies.

The role may serve as a Physical Therapy Technician or assist with Front Office duties, contributing to smooth clinic operations and patient engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health sciences, kinesiology, exercise science, or related field preferred.
• 6 months+ experience in a wellness/healthcare or customer service role preferred.
• Familiarity with physical therapy treatments and advanced therapy technologies preferred.
• Stretch certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Explain plans of care to patients and educate about insurance coverage and treatment goals.
• Operate the wellness booking platform, scheduling, payment processing, and client management.
• Assist with front office duties and scheduling to keep clinic operations smooth.
• Educate patients on advanced physical therapy technologies used in treatments.
• Assist therapists by setting up treatment areas and helping patients perform exercises.
• Promote injury prevention and healthy lifestyle habits through education.
• Maintain wellness space and equipment and ensure proper operations.
• Coordinate wellness workshops and community outreach initiatives.
