Job summary

Cypress Physical Therapy in Gonzales, LA seeks a Wellness Coordinator to support therapists and educate patients on plans of care, insurance coverage, and advanced PT technologies. The role may also assist as a PT Technician or front office helper, under licensed supervision.

Ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in health sciences or related field and at least 6 months in wellness or healthcare, with familiarity in PT treatments and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health sciences or related field preferred.
• 6+ months experience in wellness, healthcare or customer service.
• Familiarity with physical therapy treatments and advanced therapy technologies preferred.
• Stretch certified preferred.

Responsibilities

• Explain plans of care to patients and clarify insurance coverage.
• Operate wellness booking platform including booking, scheduling and payment processing.
• Assist with front office duties and clinic operations.
• Educate patients on advanced physical therapy technologies.
• Support PTs by preparing treatment areas and assisting patient exercises.
• Serve as informational contact for patient questions about treatment plans and services.

Education
