Chicken N Pickle is seeking a Sports Program Coordinator in Overland Park to build and nurture relationships with youth, amateur, collegiate, and professional sports communities. You will drive engagement by partnering with schools, clubs, and community partners and organizing post-game experiences across multiple locations.

This role requires frequent travel, including weekends, and candidates must live near a Chicken N Pickle location and be willing to travel to other states.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain relationships with youth sports orgs, ADs, coaches, clubs.
• Develop partnerships for post-game destinations.
• Coordinate sponsorships, fundraising, events, and programs.
• Partner with Marketing on campaigns for tournaments and leagues.
• Manage group reservations and coordinate team events.
• Represent Chicken N Pickle at events to grow partnerships.
• Identify new opportunities to increase guest traffic.

About the Role

The Sports Program Coordinator will help establish Chicken N Pickle as the go-to destination for youth, amateur, collegiate, and professional sports communities. This role is responsible for building meaningful relationships with local sports organizations, schools, athletic departments, clubs, and community partners to drive engagement, increase brand awareness, and create memorable post-game experiences.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about sports and understands the impact athletics have on bringing communities together. Whether you’ve participated in, coached, managed, or supported sports programs, your ability to build authentic relationships is what will make you successful.

This position supports all thirteen Chicken N Pickle locations across multiple states and requires frequent travel including weekends. Candidates must live near a Chicken N Pickle location and be willing to travel to other states.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with youth sports organizations, athletic directors, coaches, club leaders, sports complexes, and community partners.
• Develop partnerships that position Chicken N Pickle as the preferred post-game destination for teams, families, and fans.
• Coordinate sponsorships, fundraising initiatives, community events, and promotional programs that increase local engagement.
• Partner with Marketing to execute targeted campaigns supporting tournaments, leagues, and community events.
• Manage group reservations and serve as the primary contact for team and organization events.
• Represent Chicken N Pickle at sporting events, tournaments, and community functions to strengthen local partnerships.
• Identify new opportunities to expand community involvement and increase guest traffic.

Qualifications

• Passion for sports, community engagement, and relationship building.
• Experience in sales or field marketing.
• Understanding of the youth, amateur, collegiate, and professional sports landscape.
• Previous experience in sports as an athlete, coach, volunteer, league administrator, recreation professional, or community partner is strongly preferred.
• Exceptional communication, networking, sales and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple partnerships and projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel to support multiple Chicken N Pickle locations.
