Job summary

Kemper Sports Management’s Henderson facility seeks a part-time Child Watch Lead to supervise daily operations, ensure safety and high-quality care for children, and partner with the Fitness Manager to deliver engaging activities.

The role requires leadership, excellent communication, and CPR/AED/First Aid certification; evening, weekend, and event availability is expected while maintaining a clean, welcoming environment for families.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Background check prior to employment.
• CPR, AED, and First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
• Evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events availability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operation of Child Watch with attentive supervision and quality care.
• Coach and develop Child Watch Attendants with ongoing feedback and training.
• Train new team members, manage openings/closings and staffing ratios.
• Create and maintain activity calendars with crafts, games, and supervised play.
• Maintain inventory of toys, crafts materials, and cleaning supplies.
• Act as primary contact for parent concerns and incident documentation.
• Ensure a clean, sanitized environment and communicate issues to the Fitness Manager.
• Partner with the Fitness Manager to enhance the program and member experience.
• Perform additional operational and leadership duties as assigned.
