Job summary

Healthcare Recruitment Counselors seeks a Sports Medicine Physician to join our established multidisciplinary practice in the Greater Baltimore area, covering offices in Baltimore County. The role emphasizes musculoskeletal and orthopedic care with a Monday–Friday schedule and no call or weekends.

Qualifications include MD or DO, board certification/eligibility in Family or Internal Medicine, and an active Maryland license.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Sports Medicine background with strong musculoskeletal knowledge.
• Active, unrestricted Maryland medical license.
• Favorable malpractice history.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial consultations and follow-up visits
• Evaluate and manage musculoskeletal, orthopedic, and sports-related conditions
• Order and review diagnostic imaging, labs, and other testing
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Coordinate in-house therapies and referrals
• Assist patients with safe return to work and activity
• Collaborate with physicians and rehabilitation providers
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation
