HEALTHCARE RECRUITMENT COUNSELORS is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Sports Medicine Physician for Elkton, MD with potential Wilmington, DE hours. 1-2 days per week in Elkton and possible 2 more days in Wilmington, DE; license in both states required if working both locations.

Position offers a 3-4 day workweek, collaborative team, and opportunity to impact regional care with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Sports Medicine.
• Active Delaware and/or Maryland medical licenses required (Depending on locations worked).
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform new patient evaluations and follow-up visits.
• Diagnose and manage musculoskeletal injuries and related conditions.
• Order and review diagnostic imaging and laboratory testing.
• Develop individualized treatment plans.
• Complete return-to-work evaluations as appropriate.
• Refer patients for therapy or specialist care when needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff.
