As the traditional media landscape continues to evolve, Night is building the infrastructure that empowers individual creators to become global brands.

About The Role

We're hiring a Sports Content Strategist to lead content and athlete brand strategy across the Night Sports roster - this role will help our athletes build audiences, personal brands, and commercial value that lasts beyond any single season. This is a highly strategic and execution-oriented role. Working alongside Night Sports managers, you will be responsible for taking the long-term vision for an athlete and turning it into an actionable strategy across their personal brand, social platforms, and broader business.
What makes Night different is the network we bring to every athlete. We sit at the intersection of sports and the internet in a way that traditional sports agencies can’t. Our athletes don't have to guess what works online or have marginalized commercial opportunities - they have direct access to some of the most engaged audiences on the internet, and a team that knows how to activate them authentically. The Sports Content Strategist will be the person who figures out how to turn that structural advantage into content and moments that move culture.
Our sports managers are exceptional at developing athlete relationships and structuring deals. What they need is a dedicated content and brand expert who can build each athlete's digital presence with intention - someone who closes the gap between a great athlete and a brand people follow.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop and execute content strategy across Night's sports roster, tailored to each athlete's sport, season, personality, and commercial goals
  • Originate creative concepts across long form and short form digital channels - content series, creator collaborations, behind-the-scenes formats, moment-driven hooks - and own their execution
  • Build content calendars around the sports cycle: training camp, season, playoffs, draft, offseason, and key career moments
  • Broker collaborations between athletes and Night's creator roster to drive cross-pollinated audience growth
  • Source and manage external creative resources including videographers, editors, photographers, producers and other specialists
  • Partner with sports managers and the brand partnerships team to make athletes more valuable to sponsors
  • Track performance across platforms and translate data into clear recommendations for athletes and managers
  • Stay sharp on platform trends, emerging formats, and what's cutting through in sports
What We’re Looking For
  • 3 - 5+ years of experience in sports content, athlete marketing, social strategy, or a closely related role (team, league, agency, media brand, or in-house)
  • Experience working directly with athletes or talent, not just team or consumer brand accounts
  • Equal parts strategist and executor - you can develop a content vision and deliver it
  • Deep fluency in social platforms: short-form video, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube
  • Ability to identify the story, personality, and positioning that make an athlete interesting beyond their competition performance
  • Strong storytelling and communications instincts, with an understanding of what can become an earned-media moment and when to bring in PR expertise
  • Strong project management instincts - the ability to manage strategies and timelines across multiple athletes simultaneously
  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment
