Job Summary

This position requires a construction-minded individual who can travel to sports venues across the country to install large diameter poles, hang cables and netting, and perform other installation tasks. You will work with a team of dedicated sports construction technicians that are self-motivated and eager to learn, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high standards of quality and safety. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, interested in developing leadership skills, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Proper use of hand and power tools
• Lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for 8 hours
• Work in all weather conditions
• Arrive on time
• Read tape measures and use levels
• Keep work areas and equipment clean and organized
• Perform maintenance on equipment
• Use fencing tools and equipment
• Learn blueprint reading
• Understand concrete terminology
• Load trailers safely
• Maintain tools and vehicles
• Obtain First Aid/CPR/AED certification
• Travel 75% of the time

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• US work authorization
• Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus
• Regular and prompt attendance
• Physical ability to perform job duties
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Willing to work M-F, weekends, and overtime as needed
• Ability to operate hand and power tools and learn heavy equipment operation
