Placements24 is seeking a Sports Facility Manager to oversee operations and maintenance of premier sport facilities. You will lead staff, coordinate events, and drive operational efficiency to ensure a safe, clean, and engaging environment for athletes and attendees.

The role emphasizes overseeing budget, policy enforcement, and facility upkeep, with opportunities to advance within the sports management sector. Evening/weekend event support is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in facility management, preferably in a sports or recreation setting.
• Demonstrated experience in staff supervision, operational planning, and budget management.
• Strong understanding of sports venue operations, event management, and health & safety regulations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays for events.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of all sports facilities, including fields, courts, and common areas.
• Supervise and schedule maintenance staff, custodial teams, and event support personnel.
• Develop and enforce facility usage policies and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment.
• Coordinate with event organizers to plan and execute sporting events, tournaments, and community gatherings.
• Oversee maintenance and repair of facility equipment and infrastructure, ensuring safety compliance.
• Manage facility budgets, including revenue generation through rentals, concessions, and event fees.
