Job summary

Boston University is seeking an Assistant Director for Strategic Communications Internal & External Operations. The role serves as the primary contact for men's basketball and other varsity teams, handling publicity and public relations across GoTerriers.com and social media.

The position supports the creative unit within MarCom to enhance outreach and engagement with fans, alumni, parents, media and student-athletes.

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. required with 1–3 years in athletic communications.
• Thorough knowledge of NCAA, conference and University rules.
• Graphic design experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Publicity and public relations for BU men's basketball and other varsity teams.
• Distribute statistics, photos/videos, bios and recaps to tell the stories of the department and its student-athletes.
• Collaborate with MarCom's communications, marketing and video units to enhance outreach and engagement.
