Job summary

MGM Springfield is seeking a Host Person for TAP Sports Bar. You will greet guests promptly, manage reservations, and keep the dining floor organized in a fast-paced bar/restaurant environment.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years dining-host experience, strong communication, and a passion for excellent guest service; shifts include nights, weekends, and holidays; part-time 16-24 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of prior experience in a restaurant as a dining host.
• Strong communication skills.
• Passion for providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and courteously as they enter the restaurant.
• Manage reservations and maintain an accurate count using the reservation book.
• Communicate guest needs to management and the kitchen.
• Maintain knowledge of daily activities, table setups, and restaurant hours.
• Frequently check on guests waiting to be seated.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas.
• Assist food servers, bus persons, and food service runners as needed.
