Summary of Job Duties: The sports athletic trainer (AT) must be able to recognize, evaluate, treat and rehabilitate participating athletes who have suffered a sports injury or illness as well as provide injury prevention education to those athletes. Their responsibilities include coverage of athletic team events and additional special events as assigned. The sports AT serves as the primary liaison between the assigned school, the parent/athlete, and appropriate healthcare providers. The athletic trainer will also be responsible for other duties at UAMS as assigned.

Additional Information:

Will provide medical coverage for UofA UREC sports events and community racing events on an as-needed basis
