Big Ray’s is seeking a Sporting Goods Manager to lead our department in a dynamic, hybrid capacity. This role serves as a critical link between daily retail operations and strategic procurement, working in close partnership with our buying team. You will take full ownership of departmental performance—driving sales, elevating the customer experience, and maintaining excellence in merchandising and freight flow.
Beyond the sales floor, you will be responsible for operational integrity, ensuring 100% inventory accuracy and strict adherence to ATF/FFL regulatory standards. As a technical expert with a passion for the Alaskan outdoors, you will act as a brand ambassador, ensuring Big Ray’s consistently meets the unique needs of our local community.
This position is non-supervisory, reporting to the Store Manager(s)& Senior Buyer.Thisposition requires frequent standing, walking, use of stairs, speaking and hearing.
We offer a competitive wageranging from $23-$26 per hourdepending on experience, paid holidays, a 401(k) option, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, andemployeediscount.
