Job summary

The i9 Sports Cheerleading Coach is a hands-on role leading young athletes and teaching cheer fundamentals. You will create a fun, positive, encouraging environment while promoting confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

i9 Sports offers cheerleading programs for ages 3-17 across multiple sports, with a focus on safety, convenience, and enjoyment for families. Weekend and some evenings work is required for the season.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Sport-specific coaching experience & knowledge.
• Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently.
• Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends and some evenings for the full season (7 weeks).

Responsibilities

• Lead practice sessions focused on cheerleading fundamentals, basic motions, chants, coordination, and fun.
• Teach and demonstrate core values including teamwork, positivity, and good sportsmanship.
• Guide athletes through simple routines, cheers, and sideline engagement activities.
• With the help of established platforms, communicate practice and game day information to players and parents.
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and strong customer service skills while supporting a fun youth sports environment.
