Job summary

The i9 Sports Sports Coordinator will enhance the experience for players and coaches, building relationships with players, parents, and coaches while delivering high-quality instructional activities. The role involves hands-on involvement with practices and games across age groups and skill levels.

Observing, assessing, and assisting coaches is paramount, with a focus on safety, sportsmanship, and a positive customer-service mindset during all events.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Sport-specific coaching experience and knowledge.
• Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently and solve problems.
• Awareness and ability to take charge to ensure player safety.
• Positive attitude and strong ability to build professional relationships.
• Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends and some evenings for the full season (approx. 7 weeks).

Responsibilities

• Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun.
• Teach and demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values.
• Supervise the overall operation of designated sport on game day.
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills.
