Job summary

i9 Sports seeks a Sports Coordinator to enforce rules, foster a positive culture, and serve as an on-field coach for programs serving kids ages 3-12. You’ll advocate for the leagues and impact players, families, and spectators at every game day.

The role emphasizes coaching fundamentals, sportsmanship, and a customer-focused approach on weekend games, with opportunities to grow coaching skills and be a role model for athletes.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Sport-specific coaching experience and knowledge.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently.
• Flexibility to work weekends and some evenings for the full duration of the season (~7 weeks).
• Must be at least 15 years old and able to pass a National Criminal Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Understand and enforce the i9 Sports rulebooks, ensuring fun, learning, and safety for all players.
• May lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals and skill development.
• Teach and demonstrate core concepts, including sportsmanship values.
• Keep time and score during the games (officiate/referee).
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills.
• Help set up and break down fields on game day.

Job Summary
