Job summary

WireCo is seeking a Spooler Operator/Respooler to transfer wire from bobbins onto correct reels for production. The role requires precise winding, tension control, and attention to quality standards.

You will load bobbins, thread wires, and ensure safe operation of spooler equipment while maintaining accurate production records and a clean, safe workspace. This is a hands-on manufacturing position requiring reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or demonstrated basic literacy and math.
• Fluent in English with ability to follow work instructions.
• Proficiency with basic computers and measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Sort and organize partial bobbins and assemble full bobbins for production.
• Load and unload wire bobbins using hoists and spooler equipment.
• Thread wire through guides and tension rollers and secure to bobbins.
• Maintain proper winding, detect faults, and adjust tension as needed.
• Record production data and maintain inventory for orders.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and comply with PPE requirements.
