The Sponsorship Specialist leads the end-to-end administration, verification, and processing of external student sponsorships, ensuring full compliance with institutional and sponsor standards. Serving as the primary operational contact, this role efficiently manages high-volume inquiries from students, sponsors, and internal partners.
Utilizing internal databases, the Sponsorship Specialist audits account balances, tracks funding, and generates key financial reports to prevent over-awarding. As a key student-facing resource, this role delivers empathetic, clear guidance on account statuses while collaborating across the institution to support student success within a technical college setting.
Compliance with all state, federal, and accreditation standards/requirements, as well as all MATC policies and procedures.
High School Diploma or equivalent with three (3) years of related administrative or financial support experience (e.g., accounts receivable, billing, records verification, or customer account support).
Associate’s degree in Business or a similar field. Two (2) or more years of experience in higher education (Bursar, Financial Aid, or Registrar), specifically handling external funding, sponsorships, or student accounts.
This position supports Enrollment and Retention and is available starting as soon as possible.
This position is full-time, working 38.75 hours per work week. Hours are first shift, Monday through Friday. This position is based out of our Downtown Milwaukee campus.
Salary is listed to the midpoint of the salary range and is based on the 2026/2027 rates and are determined by years of experience credit and internal salary equity.
