Georgetown University is seeking a Senior Finance Officer for University Services. You will oversee the compilation, monitoring, and review of annual and intermediate budgets for assigned departments, guiding budgetary control and translating long-term objectives into established processes to maximize efficiency.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, analyze variances, and prepare detailed presentations for leadership.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance required.
• Master's Degree or higher in Business or Finance preferred.
• Professional accounting qualifications desirable.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in financial and budgetary management.
• Building and utilizing financial models; business analytics expertise.
• Excel – expert level proficiency.
• Experience with budgets of at least $50M and up to $100M.
• Experience managing complex teams.
• Strong communications and customer service skills.
• Ability to engage regularly with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience with financial systems, ideally Workday and Adaptive.

Responsabilidades

• Overseeing financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, including five-year financial plans.
• Managing financial reporting and analysis.
• Analyzing financial reports, monitoring transactions and budget allocation for operations.
• Relaying fiscal information to stakeholders with trend analysis and variances.
• Preparing recommendations and analytical presentations related to budgets and forecasts.
• Identifying issues in budget areas and advising leadership on solutions.
