Moffitt Cancer Center in Florida is seeking an experienced financial compliance professional to oversee fiscal compliance of sponsored projects, prepare sponsor financial reports, invoicing, and subrecipient monitoring. This role ensures internal controls and supports UG audits across sponsored programs.

The candidate will collaborate with PIs, RFAs, DAs, and OSR to maintain audit-ready documentation, monitor funds, and resolve issues related to grant administration and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• Minimum five years accounting/finance experience or CPA/MBA with 3 years supervising fiscal compliance.
• Experience with federal grant guidelines and sponsor requirements is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provides final approval for all labor cost transfers and grant expenses transfers to ensure sponsor and institutional compliance.
• Advises PIs, DAs, and RFAs on expenditure of federal and sponsored funding.
• Reviews budget transfer requests and ensures sponsor guideline compliance.
• Prepares and submits prior approval requests for effort reductions, rebudgeting, and carryforwards.
• Monitors subrecipient activity in Lawson and ensures audit-ready documentation.
• Maintains records to support federal guidelines and sponsor requirements; coordinates with OSR and PI.
