The Accounting and Compliance Analyst at University of Maryland, College Park, handles frontline management of over 150 accounts, mostly federally funded sponsored projects. Using Workday and BA4 Priority, you review and reconcile monthly to ensure timely, accurate, and well-documented transactions with proper business purposes.

You will produce and distribute monthly reports to faculty and PIs, support compliance controls, and collaborate with a collegial business team to deliver elite service

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• At least 3 years of professional finance or accounting experience.
• GAAP knowledge and strong internal controls.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsabilités

• Reconcile accounts monthly using Workday/BA4 Priority and maintain encumbrances.
• Produce monthly reports for faculty and PIs and support account oversight.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
