Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Research Administration, Business Administration or related field or 5 years of experience in higher education research administration.
• Effective negotiating and decision-making skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse groups of individuals; strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage the fiscal administration of sponsored projects, including determine allowability of costs and applying regulations.
• Oversee cost transfers and accounts reconciliation; monitor document processing to conclusion.
• Assist with hiring by preparing SPR and PAF documents and other employment-related activities for land grant projects.
