Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• Two or more years of experience in research administration, business administration, accounting or related experience.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, strong attention to detail and a focus on superior customer service.
• Excellent communication, planning, problem-solving, analytical, project management and customer service skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Ability to manage a constant workload in a deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to influence and build work relationships among a diverse workforce at all levels.
• Possess a learning orientation to changing technology impacting business processes.
• Ability to operate within the University's Financial, HR and ERA systems.

Responsibilities

• Proposal and New Award Review - Assist Principal Investigators on Just In Time requests. Monitor the award email inbox, identify funding proposal and route award documents to contracting and setup teams.
• Sponsor Liaison - Interpret Uniform Guidance, University and sponsor regulations to work with sponsors in meeting compliance requirements.
• Pre and Post Award Outreach and Liaison - Partner with Business Office staff, faculty, and other University personnel in oversight of proposals and contracts.
• Other - Coordinate and/or assist with other activities, special projects, and reports.
