Kutak Rock LLP in Spokane, WA seeks a full-time litigation legal assistant to support multiple trial lawyers in a busy practice across state and federal courts. The role requires handling deadlines, e-filing, and high-quality work under pressure.

In-office position with comprehensive benefits; normal hours are 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, with some department-specific flexibility and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in litigation support and document management.
• Strong proofreading and editing skills.
• Knowledge of e-filing and local court rules.
• Ability to manage deadlines and calendars.
• Proficient with MS Office and PDF tools.

Responsibilities

• Draft and finalize pleadings, briefs, and discovery materials.
• Maintain calendars and track deadlines using CompuLaw and Outlook.
• Prepare scanning, copies, and filing materials.
• Provide administrative support across state and federal courts.
• Manage electronic files in NetDocs; organize and maintain documents.
• Coordinate travel and attorney expense reporting.
• Schedule conferences and meetings via Outlook/Zoom/Teams.
• Assist reception and communicate with clients and staff.
