Job summary

Zūm Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated school bus attendant to join our team and help ensure student safety during transportation.

This safety-sensitive position requires patience and attentiveness to manage student behavior while supporting the bus driver’s focus on safe operation. Responsibilities include assisting students with boarding, monitoring behavior, assisting riders with special needs, and participating in safety procedures.

Qualifications

• This role is safety-sensitive.
• Minimum age: 21 years.
• Valid driver’s license/identification card/work authorization.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug test.
• Ability to work split AM/PM shifts.
• Experience working with children is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus safely.
• Monitor student behavior and maintain order during transit.
• Support students with special needs, including operating wheelchair lifts.
• Assist with emergency evacuations and safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, parents, and school staff.
