Job summary

Zūm is hiring a school bus attendant to help keep students safe and comfortable during transportation. You will assist with boarding, monitor behavior, support students with special needs, and help with safety procedures under the bus driver’s supervision.

This role is safety-sensitive, requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to pass background checks and a drug test, and the ability to work split AM/PM shifts.

Qualifications

• Safety-sensitive role
• Minimum age: 21 years
• Valid driver’s license/identification card/work authorization
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass background checks and drug test
• Ability to work split shifts (AM/PM) daily
• Experience working with children (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus safely
• Monitor student behavior and maintain order during transit
• Support students with special needs, including operating wheelchair lifts
• Assist with emergency evacuations and safety procedures
• Communicate effectively with drivers, parents, and school staff
