OhioHealth in Kentucky seeks a chaplain to provide direct pastoral care and spiritual support to patients, families, and staff across the hospital. The role develops a hospital parish, participates in invocations, crisis intervention, 24/7 on-call duties, and represents Mission & Ministry throughout the community.
Responsibilities include hands-on ministry, liaison work with clergy, scheduling worship services, on-call rotations, and participation in interdisciplinary teams and committees.

Provides direct pastoral care and spiritual support to patients, family members/significant others and staff throughout the hospital. Usually this involves development of a “parish” within the hospital. Shares in other activities such as invocations at operating unit functions upon request of management, crisis intervention, 24/7 on‑call responsibilities, providing hospital‑wide worship experiences, and representing OhioHealth Mission & Ministry throughout the community.
As a High Reliability Organization (HRO), responsibilities require focus on safety, quality and efficiency in performing job duties.
