Job summary

Reyes Family of Businesses is seeking a Merchandiser to visit grocery stores and beverage outlets along assigned routes. You will stock, display, rotate products and maintain shelves to ensure optimal in-store presentation.

You will move products using pallet jacks/hand trucks, and use company systems for routing, documentation and inventory checks. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required, with the ability to lift up to 170 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or meet state min age requirements.
• Reliable personal automobile transportation with valid driver's license and adequate auto insurance.
• Must be able to lift/push/pull 25–50 lbs regularly and up to 170 lbs when needed.

Responsibilities

• Travel to grocery stores and other beverage outlets to ensure proper levels of our product is stocked, maintained, displayed, and rotated correctly in accounts along assigned routes
• Transport product between backroom and display floor with manual equipment, such as pallet jack or hand truck
• Use company-issued technology and systems for routing compliance, efficiency and account monitoring
• Accurately utilize company systems to complete merchandising checkouts, upload display and backstock photos to document execution in accounts
• Maintain and organize backstock areas by consolidating products to support proper inventory levels and product freshness
• Other projects or duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience

• A candidate must be 18 years of age or meet the minimum state legal age requirements.


• Requires reliable, personal automobile transportation. Employees must maintain an acceptable driving record and valid driver's license. Auto insurance coverage must meet minimum amounts specified by the company and state law.


• Must be able to lift, push & pull products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds when needed

Preferred Education and Experience

• High School Diploma/General Education Degree


• 6 months related work experience
