Job summary

Latitude Beverage Company is seeking a Spirits Production Assistant to support post-distillation production activities including receiving, blending, proofing, filtration, and barrel finishing for vodka and whiskey.

The role focuses on rectification, finishing and compliance with opportunities to learn sensory evaluation and batch preparation for bottling. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in a fast-paced environment. 30-40 hrs/week with competitive hourly wage.

• Strong documentation habits and attention to detail.
• Comfort working with numbers and precise procedures.
• Willingness to learn hands-on tasks and distillery processes.
• Knowledge of Google Sheets and basic software tools.
• Willingness to learn distillery management software.

Responsibilities

• Assist blending operations for vodka and whiskey according to specs.
• Support proofing activities with measurements and dilution calculations.
• Operate blending tanks, pumps, and bottling systems.
• Maintain clean and organized workspaces and equipment.
• Participate in barrel sampling, labeling and data recording.
• Record barrel movements and contribute to inventory management.
• Maintain logs for batching, proofing, filtration and operations.
• Assist with regulatory recordkeeping and traceability.
